    Well, I have replaced the screen of my wife's Lenovo Yoga and got back my trusty T480s.I used the opportunity to install #FreeBSD 14.3, I speedran the XOrg part by using @vermaden X11 Window system article, for the rest, I just replicated my linux application stack, less than 1 hour.Still to validate:- WiFi speed (actually 2.7MB/s), not sure if I benefit from the latest works.- battery life- suspend/resumeResponsiveness, 2D, 3D, video: flawless.

The amount of work put in by the organisers is incredible, and both the local crew (Karlo and friends, you've been a great help and I owe you an audio cable!) and the video gang (@mischa@exquisite.social, your camera saved the day .. reluctantly; @dexter and the rest of the @bsdtv gang y'all gonna need better dongles ;) bent over backwards to accommodate my somewhat eccentric needs. If anyone is interested in what I had to say (and hand out) during my talk, the QR code at the end leads to http://anduin.net/l.htm - go grab your copy in any of three formats: Bootable floppy, zipped TheDraw files, or PDF (boo!).I met too many awesome people to count, much less remember the names of everyone, but I truly hope those of you who want to reach out will do so.     I'm sooo proud of my first contribution to the #FreeBSD #Ports tree. Although it were only 3 characters. Although I don't understand what @dvl is apologizing for -- "I'm sorry, I did not mention this PR in the commit message."The only things I needed was an account at bugs.freebsd.org and this short chapter from the Porters Handbook.
