Ok fediverse, I want to start streaming video games again. Which #peertube instance would you recommend I join? I'll be focusing on retro point & clicks and indie point & clicks. Ideally one where I can integrate chat to my channel (I'm brand new to this approach).

@FediThing I have my eye on that one! I'm drawn to it but I worry about the 30gb limit. I guess I can limit my uploads to highlights.

@pdsmix I think a 7gb upload limitation would be a bit too little 😅 I had a look at some videos I made in the past and they were around 3gb. That means I wouldn't be able to have a library of past streams.

@mhoye and simultaneously firms 'embracing ai' for 'increased productivity' are laying people off and then making those who remain 'accountabiliy sinks' for everything the automated system they imposed screws up... It's the worst of both worlds.

Vista l’enorme attenzione anche qui nel Fediverso per le Olimpiadi Invernali in Italia ci sembrava il momento giusto!
Potete seguire le Olimpiadi su @sport@diggita.com, insieme a tanti altri sport spesso poco raccontati (quindi niente calcio o F1 😉).

@deborahh Now I want to look into this phenomenon more, like what are the factors that promote the tall & narrow style today? I think there are even new builds that are 3-4 stories tall and are actually two stacked homes. My suspicion is that there are maximum height regulations, and builders want to maximize living units per area of land; though maybe there's a nostalgia factor at play as well
