@stephanie oh France did that too. Big announcement by Macron that they were putting aside โฌ500 million to attract US scientists, especially in climate, much quieter announcement of 2โฌ billion cut in research funding.

@stephanie I am absolutely livid at how they whine and squeal about how China is overtaking โthe westโ in science. Well yes theyโre 1.5 billion people that have been investing in science consistently for 25 years, what did they think was going to happen? The misplaced superiority of these people, they deserve slaps.
