#Snowing today just south of #Seattle.

@dicenbuttons Y'know, as much as I get how incredibly bad climate change is and how much work I've put into stopping oil and gas...
We've had random March snows out of nowhere here my whole life. This isn't a new thing. This is an old thing. And it's okay. Enjoy it. ^_^

@dicenbuttons (The biggest one I can remember was... '97? I think '97. March snow with six inches of accumulation in the side yard. Almost entirely gone the next day. It was _amazing_ and we loved it.)

It's an old thing here certainly, but not a common thing. 1997 was almost 30 years ago, which is a long while back.
Wife and I are enjoying the snow, wishing it didn't come with a power outage, and taking the day as it comes.
At least this won't be an "everything is covered in an inch of ice and the power is out for two weeks" event. Don't recall the year/season (20ish years back) but that was gnarly.

@dicenbuttons Sure! But there were others before and after. '97 (or whenever) was just the biggest one. :D

@dicenbuttons the snow on the cherry blossoms trips me out. Classic spring time flower, dusted in snow

@dicenbuttons snow in March isn't that unusual, and we'll all be grateful for the water this summer
But next we'll be having a heat problem. Wild swinging? That's climate change
