Sto lavorando su alcuni miglioramenti alla nostra "casa". La prima la potete già vedere, ed è l'aumento del numero di caratteri da 500 a 840. Ho scelto questo valore perché 1000 mi sembravano troppi (con conseguente rischio di avere post che divengono "pipponi" lunghissimi) e poi, come fanno notare gli amici di mastodon.bida.im 840 caratteri corrispondono a circa un minuto di parlato, che mi sembra una misura sensata.
L'altra novità consisterà in un upgrade di tutta l'infrastruttura dell'istanza, dal server virtuale che la ospita al sistema operativo e infine alla versione di Mastodon, che è rimasta ancora alla 4.3.14 per questioni architetturali.
Per questo motivo questa sera, dalle 23 potrebbero verificarsi blocchi o malfunzionamenti, che cercherò di ridurre al minimo.
