Travel update!
Berlin airport strike -> rebooked to travel to Leuven via train.
Booked ICE train (with reserved seat) to Köln was cancelled.
Follow on ICE train to Köln inevitably very busy; I’d allowed up to an hour for the connection, so it was *theoretically* possible to catch still pick it up… except that this train is now also late, as well as packed 🤦
Will get there, eventually! 💪🏻

@andypiper these kinds of adventures make me curious whether there is at least one railway company in Europe that doesn't do strikes *and* doesn't treat the schedule as a suggestion. And has routes all throughout the EU.

@andypiper Always try to get a seat reservation if you can! People that never take trains never think of getting seat reservations and then complain about having to stand 😅

@andypiper Always try to get a seat reservation if you can! People that never take trains never think of getting seat reservations and then complain about having to stand 😅
@graves501 we had reservations, but the train with the reservations on it was cancelled, and there was no way to “migrate” them to the following service! And we will miss the connection that has the next set of seat reservations. Cycle continues.

@stefano Reminds me of a person at work insisting that a container contains a full operating system.
So I made it a point at a previous presentation to show that a container can also just contain a single binary and nothing else.

@kenobit @Zambunny @Donutsaurus Rispondo a te per rispondere a tutti. So già le cose che dici e sono anche d'accordo, ma si guarda il dito e non la luna. Se un appassionato si mette a tradurre un gioco che adora, ci spende domeniche e serate, e decide di usare l'AI perché è uno strumento potente e accessibile, non vedo perché criticarlo. Poi se lui non è bravo, coerente e attento, e la traduzione non è buona allora sì che si può far notare. Ma metterlo in croce per l'AI?È una caccia alle streghe
