Batool Adwan is an artist from Gaza. She has been displaced time and again, forced to let go of her home, her memories, her sense of belonging. Yet through drawing she has found a way to survive, to escape for a moment, to process her pain. As she says, her art and her passion are the only thing that the occupation cannot control.
In this video Batool shares her drawings, including of the Global Sumud Flotilla as it makes its way to the shores of Gaza.

Quick sketches at the natural science museum in Bergamo (Italy).
It's an old museum in the city centre, with a strong historical, sometimes vintage (70ies) vibe.
