The vast majority of people who actually know what their doing have no want or need for generative AI. Make them the decision makers.

Take the decision making power from the overgrown children we call billionaires, and the dipshit stooges they put in management positions.

Better yet, take them and puttem' in fucking guillotines. The (US) government is this way because it was invented by slave owners, and since been bought out by vultures.

edit: also really messes with stuff like Castle Doctrine if the government can just be like "well yeah the ICE goons broke into your house without a warrant, but we decided it wasn't your property anymore, so you're guilty of murder"

requiring public companies to be like 50% employee controlled/owned would rule though and completely disrupts the really awful incentives of the current system. Private companies can do whatever they want, but if they're going to join the world's largest casino, i mean stock market, the employees better be getting a huge slice of that action

@FuturisticRobert @mcc Lol I had not yet unfollowed at the time of my last toot, but I have since gone and had a look at their more recent timeline, and it seems they are doubling down even more on the Slop, so I did indeed unfollow, an hour or so ago.

All good things have a lifecycle, is also true, I will say.

Assuming the newborn is real, and not a hallucination, it would be rather amusing if this is all happening because she is on a much-needed week off, leaving Phil The Failed Goth to do his thing...
