@blotosmetek @cbarbermd *That* essay doesn't even clear the bar for cassandras! Trump 2 was all entirely and tiresomely predictable back then by anyone who'd read a couple of histories of the third reich that paid more attention to implementation details, economics, and social history than the Führer and the military.

Yup, we know that. Shows our protests have an impact. The detainees in our #ICE facility tell us that-- like all abusers-- the ICE agents are so shaken after our protests they take it out on detainees, refusing to let them use tablets to contact family. Of course, the detainees do NOT want us to stop or their conditions will ultimately get even worse.I don't care if the fuckers revoke my passport. I ain't leavin' this country anyway until we drop kick these Nazis into prison.

Some people do wear masks, but most of us don't. I don't, except for an N95 when it's crowded, and that truly is Covid prevention. ICE can bite my ass. -

Quello che temo non è la delega in sé, quanto il fatto che delegando non esercito più quel tipo di abilità/competenza, e sappiamo che il nostro apprendimento è basato anche sull'allenamento, sulla ripetizione, sull'analisi. Se delegò ad una macchina queste azioni delego in parte anche il mio essere persona.

@Nickiquote I'm terrified of needles so the idea of a tattoo scares me. Yet I do want to have a zip tattooed on my hip replacement scar which is about 30cm long...
It'll probably stay as an unimplemented idea, due to the potential infection risk. I'm mildly immunocompromised.
