La valle di El Tanque a Tenerife con il vulcano Teide sullo sfondo.
La montagna spaccata al centro della foto è particolarissima; si tratta di un vulcano che la popolazione ha iniziato a scavare qualche secolo fa quando si è notato che la sua roccia, opportunamente sbriciolata, è un potente fertilizzante.

It's a lovely gray fall day. It should rain this week, and hopefully I'll start seeing mushrooms in the neighborhood. There's at least one patch that I like to photograph, that never fruited last year, because the weather jumped too quickly from dry to freezing.
