@sstrader Yeah, I already commented in the thread that it isn't real but it conveys a good message and people used it for real in Portland 2020. There is also a video of it in the thread.

Yeah. I used to follow on fbk, IMO person has some problems with their love for shitposting over accurate info combined with trying to police their idea of the exact way all resistance should be.
Cool concept, look at the actual video down this thread; the fake AI image is useless beyond getting attention at best.

@wackJackle This has the potential to get someone shot. In Portland they were not so comfortable with shooting someone in the face multiple times and think they'd get away with it. Now the in new landscape they can do just that and claim anything as an offensive weapon. I am not advocating doing nothing but know the risks, which this tip doesn't show.

@byrnensorg Of course, that's just a post that went viral. There is a video in the thread on how they used it in Portland.
Everybody should always calculate what risk they are comfortable to take. That's a given.
Don't put this burden on me.

Is it possible for you to defend the photo without conflating it with the video? Is it possible for you to respond to what I and others have actually stated? @wackJackle I don't think you're getting why people are upset about this. I believed you. I believed the picture. Now I'm skeptical about leaf blower's abilities to resist tear gas - it's an AI picture after all, might as well be a unicorn.
you say "well it really happened in Portland, so it don't matter" - well, share an actual documented case then!
until you do, you're doing a disservice to resistance.

Personalmente, per me ha senso, visto che il telefono/sveglia mi permette di essere granulare nell'impostazione giornaliera, cosa che una normale sveglia non fa. In più ho risparmiato soldi e salvato un dispositivo dal macero.
Non giudico nessuno, ci mancherebbe. La mia è semplice curiosità.
