@stefano Those are the kind of days that leave me completely unraveled. Barking dogs are enough to ruin my day. Construction noise is enough to force me out of my home. I don't envy you in the slightest

@hosford42 Thank you. I'm considering to move to the office, in the afternoon. I've also heard they were saying (to a neighbour) that they could even need to close the central water pipes for some operations. So no silence, no water. But driving to the city center may be worse. I'll decide later.

This is happening nonstop in Prague. Our offeces are on the 5th floor (the top) so I can hear any construction work within a kilometer. Especially in the summer, when I try to have the window open whenever possible.

At home, I live on the 7th floor, once again the top, hearing everything - and there is an ongoing building construction nearby for more than a year, an apartment reconstruction 4 floors below, still noisy.

It's neverending story - I cannot even believe there's still some kind of rock that can be drilled or be broken apart. I though every single wall is already looking like a swiss cheese. Aparently, it's not, yet..

Tell them they are digging a tunnel to the nearest bank and you heard someone shout:
'You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!'
