@Tutanota I wish there was alternative to Waze with real-time warnings while driving, for that I still have to use waze.

If I were a digital rights activist, I would see this time as a golden opportunity.
#Grok, the #AI "assistant" powered by Musk's xAI, has become an engine of non-consensual image and video generation at a mass scale - including pornographic and pedopornographic content. Creating and distributing this imagery has never been quicker or easier. All one has to do is reply to an image posted by someone on X with a mention of Grok and a prompt. This feature was restrained recently but people who pay an $8 subscription to X can still do it. How many politicians pushing for #ChatControl are still using X? How many official government accounts? You know, the same people who screamed WE NEED TO PROTECT THE CHILDREN and pushed for the scanning of all digital communications and files (including E2EE encrypted ones) of European citizens? In the Privacy Guides article by Em, the French, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and Irish governments (amongst many others) were in full support of Chat Control. As far as I can tell, prominent politicians, Prime Ministers and official government accounts from these countries are still posting on X.
Is there anything we can do to point out the hypocrisy? Or have the abuse machine that is Grok sanctioned and fined? And - this is key - use this horrible incident to push politicians to FINALLY quit X? It's about time.

A parte un intera montagna edificata, in realtà un ghiaione che fu disboscato rendendone le pendici fragilissime.
Il legno fu utilizzato per le casseforma del cemento armato, poi per le strutture dei tetti degli stessi fabbricati, poi per i pavimenti della chiesa in cima alla montagna.
E il mobilio anticipò di 50 quello di Ikea, disegnato per essere trasportato.
Essere ammirati da quel design splendido e parlare dei problemi concettuali è fango?

Lo stesso barista sfruttato finito il lavoro coi quattro spiccioli del suo lavoro sudato adesso che ci fa? Può portare la famiglia fuori per cena una volta al mese, o fare una vacanza normale?
Dire che non ce la faccio io non vuol dire che non ho presente la situazione di altri, più che altro va ricordato ad altri

Sin dai tempi di Olivetti, è difficile separare l’dea di un avanzatissimo welfare aziendale dal ghetto dorato; alcune cose anche se fatte con le migliori intenzioni finivano per dare un approccio totalizzate all’azienda.
Non si lavorava per, si viveva in, h24.
Certo l’Italia usciva da una guerra, quelli erano paradisi.

Magari il mio è un rant di chi prima, non da ricco ma da privilegiato in un mondo di schiavi, si prendeva un lusso potendoselo permettere
Ma non sono d'accordo con quest'ottica: perché è come un dire facciamo la rivoluzione ora senza un vago programma (deresponsalizzante), altrimenti la rivoluzione non si farà, quindi rassegnamoci e andiamo avanti (resa totale)
Preferisco constatare che non è mai stato un lusso e le cose vanno peggio per tutti

@sabrinaweb71 @filobus @phabrizio (poi ci sarebbe da dire che in un paese civile tutti, anche quelli che lavorano facendo caffé in un bar, dovrebbero potersi permettere di spendere magari 5 euro (compresa la brioche) per un piccolo lusso con una frequenza magari non di tutti i giorni, ma neanche solo una volta all'anno o simili. ma quello è un discorso ben più ampio)

Secondo me ci sono 2 cose da considerare:
- probabilmente, come tanti, aveva aspetti positivi (molti vantaggi per i dipendenti, molto determinato con politica anche internazionale), che negativi (nessun rispetto per l'ambiente e sotterfugi politici)
- va inquadrato nel suo tempo. Non si può giudicare con sensibilità di oggi. Va confrontato coi personaggi e con le pratiche dell'epoca.Penso sia un personaggio positivo, ma per certi versi aveva uno stile politico alla Elon Musk, esternamente non guardava in faccia a nessuno, nel bene e nel male
