Since the cooking gas was cut off in Gaza, we've been cooking whatever we can find over wood fires, just like primitive humans.

Since the cooking gas was cut off in Gaza, we've been cooking whatever we can find over wood fires, just like primitive humans. My 11-year-old brother, Yousef, lights the fires. Unfortunately, the smoke exhausts our sinuses, and his in particular, making it hard to sleep. Blackness and ash cover us after every meal.
Additionally, the price of firewood is now increasing due to its increased use by Gazans.
A kind reminder about my campaign here.

https://www.chuffed.org/project/evacuate-joyIt's grimly funny, but people are now breaking down their own furniture, like beds and cabinets, just to have wood for fires
