@evan are you relocating ActivityPub from W3C to the IETF?

@micke no. But many of the standards that we depend on, like Webfinger, HTTP Signature, OAuth and now MLS are at IETF. There is a lot to see and do here for people working on Fediverse standards.

In mastodon 4.5, linking to a toot in a DM, will leak the DM to the person your are talking about 🤦
1) Alice DM Bob via mastodon
2) Alice send a link to Malory's post in the DM to Bob
3) Malory receive a notification with the DM content.
