@evan I’m not travelling anywhere in November, and even if I was, it wouldn't be to the US. I'm even planning ways to travel places that explicitly avoid any layovers in the US. It’s strictly a no-go zone as far as I'm concerned

When I was a kid, my mom had a '69 Caprice in gold. Looked a little something like this (though with stock wheels and gold interior). I hated this era of American boat-sized car at the time, but I kinda love them now. And, the '69-'70 model years are objectively the best styling for the Impala/Caprice. No, but…I’m completely avoiding any travel to the US for any reason. Don’t want to even enter the US on a layover. But the government shutdown isn’t the issue for me. It’s the fascism I’m trying to avoid.

@evan I just saw this now and had a thought. If you want a list of politicians most in favor of gun control, the best place to ask is the NRA. AIPAC may have the lost you're looking for.
