@wjmaggos I would like to use my blog author's account as main fediverse interaction place, but I fear we aren't there yet. The "Enable Mastodon apps" plugin to allow you to write from a Mastodon client, has a bug (issue 273 on github) -> enable mastodon apps.
From your blog, then, you should go to a fediverse post of interest, and then post a content-type with bookmarklet or with the reply block. #WordPress #ActivityPub

Oggi ho ricevuto una brutta notizia. Per la precisione, non ho ricevuto nessuna notizia ma proprio questa è la brutta notizia, se collegata a dei fatti che ho potuto personalmente riscontrare. Ma in realtà, tutto sommato, la brutta notizia è da un lato una buona notizia. Perché, di fatto, le cose sono andate non come avrei voluto ma esattamente come mi sarei aspettato. Ovvero sono andate peggio del previsto ma questo peggio, in qualche maniera, ha confermato qualcosa che pensavo. E, dunque, mi ha dato ragione. Dunque la brutta notizia di oggi, di fatto confermata da nessuna notizia arrivata, è di fatto una notizia che dimostra che avevo ragione. Quindi forse la brutta notizia è effettivamente una buona notizia. Ok, la smetto..😄

I got some bad news today. Or rather, I got no news at all, and that's the bad news, particularly in light of things I saw with my own eyes. But then again, when you think about it, the bad news is also kind of good news. Things didn't go the way I wanted, but they went exactly the way I expected them to. Meaning, they turned out worse than I'd hoped, but this outcome confirmed a suspicion I had. And so, it means I was right. Therefore, the bad news of today - confirmed by a lack of news - is actually what proves I was right all along.
Which maybe makes the bad news... good news?
Alright, I'll stop.. 😄

my feeling is that some people are extremely allergic to saying or writing insults
so they intentionally misspell, or ***, just as an effort at disassociating themselves from the horribleness of writing an insult
i don't have a problem with writing fuck fuck fuckity fuck for example
but plenty of people do have a squeamishness about it and a little extra padding between their intent and their actual words makes them feel better about it

Angela #Merkel ha dichiarato nel dicembre 2022 che gli accordi di #Minsk non erano un tentativo di stabilire la #pace, ma piuttosto un tentativo di dare tempo all'#Ucraina di rafforzare il proprio esercito. Questa posizione è stata confermata anche da François #Hollande, che ha detto che gli accordi hanno dato tempo fondamentale a Kiev per prepararsi militarmente.

Allora con calma provo a (1) documentarmi perchè non sapevo del limite messagi, di ArcaneChat ecc. e (2) installarlo per vedere come mi trovo.Nel qual caso magari chiederò a qualche anima buona se mi scambia qualche messaggio giusto per vedere se funziona !
