The Centaur and the Siren
@davidrevoy Imagine your father is a minitour and your mother is a mermaid, but you get the human half from both.
That mean's you're just...
Some guy.

@davidrevoy Hi, thanks for all.
your work. Just beside your fantastic current work, I am just curious if there is any finalizing work planned for Pepper & Carrot? Would love to see a great end! :) #fanboy https://www.davidrevoy.com/article1020/the-end-of-peppercarrot-and-my-next-project -

@Aoi_X_Kaizaki Haha, that's a good idea. I'll try to keep it in mind, maybe there is a way to make a comic strip around this drama.

@davidrevoy For the curious folks who wonder how it worked in practice ... notice the arrow and the shell.
@greenCoder Thank you for noticing this two symbols; the shell with its shape and the arrow (and role of hunter). It was unconscious at the storyboard phase, then became intentional. #symbolism

@davidrevoy Not pictured: The third kid, Blort, who was lucky enough to end up with fish top and horse bottom.

@davidrevoy I feel kinda bad for the dad, though. He only gets to hang out with his kids near the shore while the mom and kids get the entire ocean.

Wait, hold up, you made this using only free, open-source tools?!? That's even more impressive. If you don't mind me asking, what's your preferred drawing software? I've been using Photoshop since forever, but I've been itching to move to something else.

I also have a humble Ytb channel if you are not allergic to French accent: https://www.youtube.com/@DavidRevoy/videos (mirrored on Peertube too, https://peertube.touhoppai.moe/c/4742f338-1ded-4798-bd85-93e8de367476/videos?sort=-originallyPublishedAt )

@Jmvars True, they do have clearly more in common with the mermaid mother on this aspect.

J'ai testé pour cet épisode une nouvelle configuration pour mon crayon numérique sous Krita: avec d'avantage de grains. Je partagerai ça bientôt sur le blog.
