Eleven years ago today, I set foot in Great Britain for the last time.
Well, I really miss that island a lot. I think it’s time to plan a new trip, although it probably won’t be anytime soon. -

@pertho I’ve been in Manchester (on and off) for more or less three years. I love that part of England! And yes, maybe it’s time to get back.

@stefano I exactly know that feeling. We loved that island and the people on them, right up to the minute that they told us they don't want our friendship and solidarity any more. Have not been back since the abomination that is Brexit, even though I want to go very much. We will see about 2026...

@stefano purtroppo sta diventando, come gli USA, la nazione della sorveglianza digitale di massa nei confronti dei loro cittadini, e non sembrano volersi fermare o capire quello che fanno. O magari lo capiscono benissimo ed è esattamente quello che vogliono. Il sindaco di Londra dice che Londra è diventata una delle città più sicure del mondo grazie agli investimenti tecnologici che hanno fatto... 🤔

@salvadorbs Quando le aziende parlano di sicurezza, dietro c'è sempre la fregatura. A nessuno interessa della sicurezza, né in ambito digitale né nel mondo reale (lavorativo).

@FraEmme Il mio vecchio S2 Plus l'ho riciclato come sveglia hi-tech e ora che le batterie stanno andando (sembrano gonfiarsi) al suo posto c'è l'ultimo Huawei, con WA e Watomatic (un risponditore automatico), più Mailbox (l'applicazione casella postale di Briar).
Pensavo anche io di farci una cosa simile ma alla fine ho optato per altro.
