It's too bad Atlassian bought The Browser Company of New York because I would love to be using Arc or Dia. i'm trying #zen, the mozilla-based remix that has a similar vibe?

coincidentally, I was compiling chromium on Gentoo with LLVM/Clang toolchain but it's a no-go on 8GB RAM without using extra swap (even with ccache), gonna have to setup distcc again and have the big boxes share the load.

I'm not sure about the temperature of this particular take, but it seems like the phrase "straight out of the authoritarian playbook" is nearing the end of its usefulness.
Some of us have been aware of that fact for a long time. Lots of people have been using the phrase to raise the alarm.
But it seems like those who would be alarmed by new examples are now alarmed, and those who aren't, won't be.

Trump claimed that Sanford's attack on the Michigan LDS church was an "attack on Christians", but Sanford was a Trump supporter and almost certainly a Christian himself, and Mormons have been persecuted by Christians for as long as they've existed. This was almost certainly an attack *by* a Christian on people he considered fake Christians.
