@dysfun @solonovamax "master of one's craft" is what i'm thinking of. mastery. masterclass. don't see anything gross about that. the german word is "meister" (note the shared etymology), and really just means that, and has never meant "boss guy" (though colloquially, in the context of craftsmanship - the counterpart is the apprentice)

@lritter @dysfun @solonovamax i am not a git user, i access git through mercurial and a bridge, and i name my main branches "stable" (the branch corresponding to the last official release) and "unstable" (the current wip/next-version development branch). this is both clearer and more useful than the branching conventions used by git users and i don't understand why anyone does things differently from me

per quanto ne so serve un richiamo covid + influenza tutti gli anni, perché i virus cambiano un po' e la protezione cala con il tempo.
Qui a Verona hanno fatto le campagne vaccinali tutti gli anni e io ho sempre fatto tutti e due.
Mi viene molto comodo farli entrambi in farmacia visto che comunque quello per l'influenza lo devo pagare.

I suspect that one of the corrupt bargains between Trump & large agribusiness is a solution to their "labor problem". Koch Network believes it is an outrage to pay for labor, never mind a fair & livable wage.
Entities like Koch Poultry in Mississippi have regularly scheduled ICE raids on paydays.
