I didn't think that deleting my #BlueSky account would be on the list for this year when I started my #SocialMedia / #DigitalDetox this year. But after being apart from all platforms, only #Mastodon feels like returning to a place that feels like a #digital #home to me.
I got rid of most algorithm based platforms quite early this year, after reclaiming my focus. Only exception is #YouTube where I watch mostly #minimalism and #Privacy related content these days.
But with the recent #revelations about things going on with bluesky, I feel like it's a good time to say #goodbye to their platform.

Io ho bloccato diversi domini malevoli e la mia esperienza è migliorata notevolmente.Sugli arroganti non saprei che dirti. C’è una cultura molto legata ai diritti umani e all’odio dei confronti dei social network commerciali gestiti da techbros.
Qui nel fediverso ci si confronta in maniera pacata. W le vedute diverse e il confronto aperto.

@_elena Welcome, switched to Jellyfin from Plex when they started sending "fun" mails of what people were watching on plex to their contacts. Making it very obvious that they track whatever you watch. Jellyfin is great, hope you enjoy it as much as I have. :)

Yesterday I was singing the praises of #Jellyfin with someone in my life and they went: "Sounds great. It's a pity it cannot be connected to Google Drive or iCloud".
Fedi friends, this sentence sent actual shivers down my spine. I have no poker face and I may have even blurted out "ew why?" Then I said: "you know that the cloud is basically someone else's computer, right?"
So yes, I'm a certified Fediverse person now (in case there were any doubts).
And I just installed Jellyfin YAY 🥳
