I believe I am a game developer. Even though my games are barely games and I have sold $0.
I am also a hobby game developer, because I am not selling anything and I just want to make something.
A profesional game developer is someone that can/has gotten hired to develop games.
An indie games developer used to mean something but can now mean almost anything.
A solo games developer is a rockstar fullstack genius that does entire games, except the parts they cant do.

Sono proprio felice di iniziare a vedere altri #admin del #Fediverso riuniti nello stesso angolino.
È normale che siamo tutti un po’ sulla difensiva (me compreso), la stanza è nata da un solo giorno… ma siamo già in 20!La verità è che stare ognuno nel proprio fortino e non collaborare è controproducente; se non troviamo un vero punto d’incontro, rischiamo solo di farci schiacciare dai soliti social commerciali che già bussano alla porta con il loro “ciao, vi inglobiamo tutti?”.
Chissà, magari tra un po’ ci rilassiamo, abbassiamo gli scudi e iniziamo davvero a fare squadra, aiutarci e costruire qualcosa di bello insieme… senza campanilismi e senza “il mio server è più bello del tuo”.🙏

Qualsiasi programma per computer può essere progettato per essere eseguito da un singolo file, se la progettazione è abbastanza sbagliata! 🤣
Volevo creare il server #Fediverse più semplice possibile, che potesse essere utilizzato come strumento didattico per mostrare come funziona ActivityPub / Mastodon.

The #Fediverse can focus on praising what is good while also criticising what is bad. That's what makes us special, in my opinion. Other "social" networks use algorithms to hide the praise because only negativity brings traffic and ad click money. We are different. We can promote the good without risking being shadow-banned. Use that power. At least once a day. Deal? It takes some time to leave that pavlovian reflex of negativity behind. But at least try and you will enjoy the results :)

@liaizon @jorgecandeias @rompe @fediversereport @newsmast this is not a problem of the plugin itself, it is a correlation with caching plugins that cache the wrong (the JSON) representation. there are several options: deactivate the caching, change the caching plugin or deactivate content negotiation.

Be careful what you favourite on Mastodon. An old post can be edited with statements you don’t believe in or of hatred. Third party apps may not refresh the post until you interact with them.
