When did you last attend a technical conference?

@evan it's definitely been a while for me! In part due to the COVID disruptions for a while, in part just had busy busy times when I didn't have the energy to do more conferences.
Might pick up again soon. :)

@brooke do you count wikimaniae? Or all-hands?

@evan I'm not counting Wikimedia department or team meetings; I haven't been to a Wikimania or Wikimedia Hackathon in a while ;_;
Hoping to make this year's Hackathon in May though, and keeping an eye on some of the video-related conferences I used to hit more often.

@brooke I'm going to the Hackathon! My goal is to federate more stuff.

@bonkers Spring 2024 or 2025?
-
Never have, unless you include computer graphics conferences like Siggraph.
-
@evan By "attend" I assumed "in-person" so voted pre-COVID.
I attended some great ones online though (accessconference.ca and swib.org I'm looking at you!)

@Blort Hmm. Why wouldn't that be a technical conference?
