I love laughing at bonkers standards committees as much as anyone. But these bagels don't fit into either my bagel slicer or my toaster, which is bloody inconvenient.
They can't just invent a new bagel size and expect us to change all our equipment to fit. Who do they think they are, Apple?

In related news, some of the handmade pizzas in my local store have "innovated" on their size and do not fit in my freezer without their edges being folded up. Looks like an F18 on an aircraft carrier.

@TomF has it occurred to you that maybe the food has remained the same size, but the hardware in your house has been getting smaller instead?
