You set up a keyword/regex and urFiltrZ replaces or hides the element(s) that have it. And you can choose to affect any amount of parent elements.

The first keyword I would filter is "podcast", closely followed by "discord", then "republican" and "democrat"...

Can anyone tell me, as an Android user that uses Fossify (via F-Droid) alternatives to most Google apps what are the options moving forward to keep using the Fossify apps.

I don't care about the doom and gloom of Google, but the effective actions/alternatives I can take as a user that doesn't want to use Google apps but also not willing to consider iPhone.

NP++ not having a Linux version is one thing. But lately NP++ has been running heavy on my cheap laptop.

Geany has no problem, and seemingly uses next to no resources, while editting the same files. Sadly I don't _love_ Geany, but it's on Win+Linux so it gets a pass... For now.

Silly Windows pet peeve.

If you copy paste a file. The name Windows gives it, makes for the most difficult rename operation... The most confusing ordering in File Explorer... AND!

If you right away after pasting, try to click the file to rename or move it, often OneDrive will kind of softlock the files, so that you start moving or renaming the wrong file instead of the copy you wanted to rename.

Microsoft has truly lost touch with efficiency anywhere.

I was following almost everyone that interacted (favorited/boosted/replied) to my posts.

But I have noticed very few people follow back anymore. I would say 1 person out of 10, if that. Since I value interaction more than just reading an endless stream of news links. Since I want to read people that also read me. Just following everyone seems ineffective now.

I feel like I've reached some sort of plateau. Maybe my account is too unfocused for some people to follow.

Windows 11 initial setup is an absolute horrid experience.

(This desktop (deskwhole?) will get Linux eventually but I can't set it up just yet.)

Edit: I honestly feel like Windows 11 has beaten me today. It's working. There's no issues. But it feels like it is actively working against my wishes. Its draining.

And well, you see, I spent a lot of time thinking whether I should buy the thing or not, it still cost a pretty penny, and I dont... I'm not a miser or a penny pincher but I don't usually buy stuff I don't need. So I had this back and forth with myself. For a while.

And so it never actually occur to me LOL to check the size...
