I didn't have wifi yesterday and now I have two days accumulation of Pacific Northwest photos. So hard to choose what to share! Let's start with Cape Flattery. It's on the Makah reservation and I also got to visit the Makah museum in Neah Bay. Really cool exhibits there on our way to a fantastic little walk through the forest to the coast.

When you find out a plant is called spotted touch-me-not, your mind might go immediately to poison ivy. But with this one, apparently it's because they explode their seeds everywhere when you touch them. I only learned about this later while reading, so I didn't try it in the moment. Something for the to-do list.

I went walking this morning, wearing long pants and long sleeves and a head net. This mosquito was like, "amateur," and she bit me on the palm of my hand.
