A couple of weeks ago I went to the biodiversity festival at the Gault nature reserve. My husband is much more extroverted than I am, and as he was chatting with different researchers at their little kiosks, I was taking photos of the bugs and the leaves on the kiosks. I liked this one.

I saw these mushrooms and went through the linked guide to identify them as polyporus brumalis. But then my ID app said it was lentinus brumalis and I was a little disappointed I had gotten it wrong. But then I looked up polyporus brumalis and it redirected to lentinus brumalis. I was doing some screen sharing with my boss today and noticed that he doesn't use Adobe acrobat reader either. He uses foxit. As I've mentioned here before, I tried Okular and settled on Sumatra. Nice that I'm not the only oddball at work making conscious decisions and rejecting default software. #AdobeSucks
