HappyCow remains good - Google Maps too. Tabelog was a bit crap.
Best vegan meal I had was in a Halal Kobe restaurant 🫠
It is relatively straightforward to find veggie options. But it does depend on how morally flexible you are. My 100% vegan ramen had an egg in it (fine for me). A tofu restaurant served things coated in bonito (less than ideal). -
