This is the kind of blob we like to see!
0.83” of rain so far this morning. It was forecasted to start yesterday but the system moved north of us, leaving us with a few light sprinkles. A couple hours of rain possible before this moves on and gets replaced by October weather: 35°F low tonight, 25° tomorrow night and daytime highs in 50’s, low 60’s.

I've posted about the fall scarecrows around one of the towns. Imagine you’ve approached a one-lane train bridge underpass, don't see anyone coming so you speed up to go through and are faced with this shocked "lady in red”.

Since the moon kept getting stuck in the branches I shifted focus a bit to see how that would look. “;^)
