Just a note for the next time anyone schedules a conference in Texas:
It is now literally illegal for trans people to use the bathroom there.
Your trans friends and colleagues are going to be silently judging you for hosting events in a place it's illegal for them to exist when there's lots of other states to pick from.

But that's also my engineer brain I suppose. I've always been a function over form sort of person. Some people want the flowery language to keep up the illusion that their thoughts are expressed in a pretty way.
I don't give a shit about pretty and formal business speak. Just give me the actual things you want me to know.
I dearly wish rather than people putting prompts in the slop generator to make far longer and pretty looking slop, they just sent the prompt itself.
Just send me "write a memo that says all employees need to fill out their expense reports by Tuesday, remember there's a federal holiday later this month, and good work on Project Phi."

@danirabbit How dare you want to be honest to people... I hate doing it because both my upbringing and my 'tism hates directly lying to people. But it was only after I went through various different experiences over the years where I learned NTs and bureaucracy don't give a shit about being absolutely honest. It's required to lie in order to get what you need.
