I am LOVING seeing so many AI projects being paused or binned.@gpshewan @ramsey @SecurityWriter Another is that at least the US government won't be likely to toss a bailout with the amount of gridlock in DC, so they're not easily going to get dump trucks of free money.

Alphabet (Google) launched a massive global bond sale, including a 100-Year Bond.@neurovagrant I mean, it's a good deal for them. Cash now, pay never since either the corp or the US won't exist by then anyways.

We knew this was coming, but now the clock is running.@briankrebs I don't remember a number of those things even if I wanted to.

Is there a way to set recurring tasks (daily, every Wednesday etc) in #NextCloud tasks?@MisuseCase @afewbugs I just image search "we will make our own place comic" each time

Is there a way to set recurring tasks (daily, every Wednesday etc) in #NextCloud tasks?@afewbugs Yeah, I've seen the cycle a lot in transfem spaces and Black spaces and both. Build a space, maintain the space, others come in and complain the space isn't equal enough, burn out and leave the space to build a new one. Rinse repeat.

🤣Oh no!@tuban_muzuru @mekkaokereke @Chasteen It absolutely has to do with oil. But he didn't bother to actually listen to anyone who knows anything about the oil industry. And nobody in his orbit is going to push back on any of his foolish ideas. So Trump really does probably think Venezuela is just sitting on a trillion in oil reserves

Happy New Year of the Linux Desktop.@neil maybe this year we'll hit FOUR percent ...

There's too much news happening all the time.I know, we should hire a group of people who write well to look through all the news, figure out which is real and not, and then write a few dozen "articles" in a paper about whatever is happening that's newsworthy. I think I'll call it papernews
-
There's too much news happening all the time. Also, the local news is broken. So 10000000000 national and international news per minute, but I still end up surprised every damn time they bulldoze that thing I like which I would have gone and yelled at a city council meeting about.
-
There's too much news happening all the time. The news keeps happening faster than any 25 people could ever keep up. Before you even come up with a coherent response to one bit of news, 200 more news has arrived.
-
There's too much news happening all the time. There's too much news happening all the time. Could we maybe slow the news down to a few newspapers a day worth of news?
