@glyph one very notable failure mode of this approach is when dealing with a certain class of person (the ones that commonly reduce to “ghoul”), who *do not want to be impacted by regulation*. approaches to handle the regulatory design also need to be cognisant of this dynamic, and have an explicit way to dealotherwise we get the VW and ARB type outcomes (to wit: regulatory capture, or worse)

@mttaggart@infosec.exchange I mean we shared CGA porn on floppy discs the final year of primary school... everyone who was young and had half a brain got their hand on something. stealing Daddy's naughty mags or pilfering moms underwear catalogue if you couldn't get anything else ... and that's just boys and boobies. kids are sharing way worse sometimes sadly. moderation and pupping I. the work to talk to and supervise kids is the only way. they need to develop a sense of what's harmful and why.
