@peach@phpc.social @david@davidpeach.me @alex@alex.kirk.at @pfefferle@mastodon.social yeah, I have two WP sites on the fediverse, accessed thru @jaypeachproductions.com@jaypeachproductions.com an artist and musician site and @bozos@objectnets.net, a geek site
@evan I read that not as "should you share content from the fediverse" but as "how should you share content from the fediverse", especially since fediverse software generally has good to excellent embeds (a thing commercial platforms do not), and those are strictly better than screenshots in every way. So it`s a "no, (prefer embeds) but (if the target wont display them screenshots work)"

Hey, friend! It's almost the deadline for early submissions for #HOPE26. If you're working on #ActivityPub or the #Fediverse, you should apply to give a talk.https://www.hope.net/hope-deadlines-this-week/

@evan @deadsuperhero Will help however I can! One area of focus I’d assist would be helping with working group on feed account standardization we mentioned in the article….
@blogdiva @afreytes ActivityPub objects have a separate field for hashtags (categories), just like they do for “destination” (To/Cc fields). Mastodon manages these in the post content, but not all platforms do. So it's possible that the metadata is present, but Mastodon doesn't show it. Looking at the original ActivityPub object would, though. If you still have an example around it would be interesting to check.
Peasants could move between fiefs, but fiefs couldn't easily move, except by gathering everyone up, and packing everything they can into a caravan, and taking a perilous journey to new lands. Users are peasants, communities are fiefs.
