@sabrina @lu_leipzig If the problem is values, it is not clear to me collective decision making will turn out better than top-down decision making. Then the question is whether the collective has good values.At the moment, my goal is a separation. Allowing the people whose values reject LLMs to coordinate with each other and develop software without people who will try to inject LLM support or outputs being given an opportunity to do so.

@simon_brooke Absolutely, but not everyone has the skills or time (and motivation) to learn those skills. It's a pity but a fact of life. Like I said earlier on this topic, there are lots of apps out there, it's just a question of finding the one that works for your individual needs. I'm happy to invest some effort, but not everyone is.

Letraset and other brands of dry transfer lettering were big business for us, even into the mid-1990s.And I wouldn't say that's the only advantage to optical switches. There's a definite difference in feel, since they are switching a relay and not actually passing the main circuit's signal.

@PaulaToThePeople I chose two options for different reasons (sorry).The reason I tried fedi was escaping arseholes. The reason I stayed was good vibes. If I'd known about fedi earlier - I moved in early 2022 - I would have dived in right away, I'm so much happier here.
