@thisismissem ironically, I am debating rolling back the summary generation logic for NodeBB because sending the first 500 chars means fewer people go off-site to read the rest of the post.
I was able to get much more engagement by sending the entire darn thing in summary.

Al momento per esempio l'ultimo rilascio ufficiale non consente una corretta modifica dei post già pubblicati. All'interno degli Store infatti non vengono rilasciate le Beta A meno che non ci si sia iscritti al programma di beta testing. Oltretutto in questo momento lo sviluppatore sta lavorando ad alcune modifiche di natura architetturale che vengono rilasciate solo in beta.Ripeto, stiamo parlando di un'app abbastanza nuova e penso che già entro la fine dell'anno saranno stati superati tutti questi aspetti di stabilizzazione dello sviluppo
@davew @pfefferle Ha! Yeah, it's a mind bender alright!At least the Spam aspect shouldn't be a concern with all the back-and-forth to even allow quote posts.The way I look at it is integrating an ActivityPub concept with a blogging concept that's already familiar to WP users.
@PortaFed@julian Why wouldnt the whole export object be signed? If an object is missing, the merkle root wouldnt match and you wouldnt be able to do partial validation anyway. I could have missed something on the strategy there
@stefano thanks. I'm pragmatic about levels of engagement here and elsewhere. Looking at other instances' local live feeds, in isolation, was … erm … I'm not sure how to describe the overall experience, but it was worth it.
@stefan @cheeaun unfortunately I don't have any information on that (and we don't track specifics so it would be difficult to comment I think; will ask some folks about it though)
