@ariadne ah, wow, we never felt safe making any such assumption. we've been avoiding entering the US for over a year now.

@ariadne I'd suggest routing to an airport with preclearance if possible, but given the unknowns I'd suggest cancelling your trips out of the US.

@brood@mas.to I used Google Docs for one simple reason: I don’t have access to a Nextcloud server, I’ve never tested one, and I don’t know if it would be as accessible to everyone I’m trying to reach. Google Docs is what I had available to get the proposal in people’s hands quickly.
Purity tests like this can actually stall good projects before they even start. The tools used in the bootstrap phase don’t define the governance or long-term structure—the members do.
And that’s the point: if you join as a member-owner, you’ll have a direct say in what tools get used going forward. That’s where these decisions belong.

@rolery @SmilaBlomma Gira che ti rigira sono sempre i ricchi e potenti che vogliono diventare sempre più ricchi e sempre più potenti. Hai ragione. Niente attori = costi sopra la linea dimezzati = possibilità maggiore di rientrare dei costi del budget.
Ma se togli l’attore togli il lavoro a quasi tutti i reparti. Se l’AI nei film è inevitabile starà ai sindacati difendere le professioni. Potrebbe succedere quello che è successo ai programmatori poco fa. Licenziamenti di massa.
