May 2026 be the year I get into #FreeBSD.

My last #mysocalledsudolife action of 2025 is... downloading the FreeBSD handbook.

I was about to print it at my in-laws' but I'm not sure my father-in-law would appreciate the consumption of 935 sheets of paper. I also don't want to sacrifice a tree for it. So off it goes to my iPad 🤪​

@elena I went FreeBSD -> Debian -> Ubuntu -> Debian again -> Arch (CachyOS mainly).
For me, it’s the typical “more than the destination, enjoy the ride”. 😁

@jpmens haha thank you JP! Considering all the self-hosting I managed to achieve in a month (original goal: 4 years) maybe I can get a grasp of FreeBSD sooner than later... maybe by end of April 2026 😉​
