    Blue Fire is still a sore spot of contention for me.

    Because I had this on Stadia.

    But then Google took it away from me when they shut Stadia down.

    I’ve been patient, though, waiting for a steep discount. And last month, when it was part of a bundle deal, I swooped in and bought it.

    Doesn’t perform well on Steam Deck, barely getting over 30fps. Thankfully, I have an Alienware with a 3090, so I’ve been able to play it at max settings in all its glory.

    So here’s the irony. While streaming was why I lost this game, streaming is also why I’ve been appreciating it again. Because I’ve been streaming Blue Fire from my Alienware to my Steam Deck, and it’s been excellent.

    This is a wonderfully approachable 3D metroidvania that’s easy to pick up and play, and worth experiencing.

This version does NOT work on pre-Turing generations of GPUs, just as 590 series.
