T.J.: Alright. New episode of Jung&Naiv. I have a new guest. Who are you? J.W.: I'm Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia. T.J.: You're the founder or co-founder? [Because...] J.W. [interrupts]: I don't care. That's the dumbest question in the world. T.J.: Really? J.W.: Absolutely. T.J.: There seems to be a dispute. J.W.: There is no dispute! I don't care. So, yeah... Say what you like, it doesn't matter. T.J: Well, isn't that - like- when it comes to Wikipedia a problem? You know; What are the facts? J.W.: Yeah. [Laughs] Well, it's not a fact, it's an opinion. You can have whatever opinion you like. It doesn't matter. T.J.: But for you, you are the founder? J.W. [leans forward]: Can I just say again: It doesn't matter! I have answered your question four times. [Stands up] You know what? I'm done. [Leaves] T.J.: What's going on? J.W.[off camera, leaving]:It's stupid. Don't ask me stupid question! T.J.: How is this stupid? J.W.[off camera, far away]: It's a stupid question! T.J. [speaking off camera]: It was the first question?! T.J. [speaking towards audience]: Alright. We are done here. @afewbugs ouch. It's one of those situations where any move is going to cause a little bit of pain. There would probably have been a diplomatic way to “guide” future cake baking towards more appreciated flavor, but it's very hard to come forward and say what one prefers unless they are being asked, especially if what's being given is a gift.

But yeah, not sure where I was going with this and it's probably more something to unpack in therapy than share on the internet honestly, but thank you to the people who ask what people want before cooking for them. And we should probably all be doing that a bit more, and I should probably do more work on feeling I can express what I want without feeling I'm hurting people by doing so. Also it's okay not to like something everyone else loves, whether that's chocolate cake or birthday presents

@afewbugs There's nothing self-indulgent about that; it sounds like you spent many years indulging other peoples' fantasies about what you should and shouldn't like. And, sorry to say, that experience is also familiar to me, too.
I hope you treat yourself to non-chocolate confectionary nowadays :)

@lolgop Don't call them abortion pills, call the Period(or menstruation) regulation tablets They do prevent irregular periods due to pregnancy, just do not say that bit out load.
