I'm "Yes, but...". Yes, but I don't think that everyone who is on the Fediverse is part of the Fediverse movement.

I'm "Yes, but...". Yes, but I don't think that everyone who is on the Fediverse is part of the Fediverse movement.
I also think there are some pretty big fissures in our movement, with some people thinking that use of the Fediverse is for everyone, and others thinking that it should be for only a select few.

Even in those cases, though, I think it's reasonable to assume that people hold those beliefs because they think it's best for some group (either all people, or people already on the Fediverse).

I get angry attacks from people on here every once in a while. It hurts. I've been working on building the Fediverse for 17 years now; I really don't like having my intentions questioned.

@Benhellis @thornsinnercircle senz'altro, il guaio è che spesso e volentieri non è possibile: in casi come questo per dire, o in generale le esperienze lavorative all'estero difficilmente si portano appresso un passaparola decente come può averlo la ditta di provincia dove bene o male qualcuno in paese due cose le sa (anche se pure lì è diventato tutto più complesso tra delocalizzazioni e proprietà nascoste chissà dove)

@Xabacadabra @thornsinnercircle Quoto, non esistono molte recensioni di ex-dipendenti sulle aziende. Però nell'ambito master/universitario mi è capitato di confrontarmi con altri dipendenti sulle proprie aziende, forse il metodo giusto sarebbe tornare al passaparola senza affidarsi a piattaforme? La buona e vecchia rete sociale

@thornsinnercircle eh è un po' la cosa che mi infastidisce di più, anche perché penso che com'è successo a me dev'essere capitato in tante altre occasioni dove magari mi avrebbe fatto comodo leggere rece di gente che esprimeva le proprie esperienze
