I'm "Yes, but...". Yes, but I don't think that everyone who is on the Fediverse is part of the Fediverse movement.

I also think there are some pretty big fissures in our movement, with some people thinking that use of the Fediverse is for everyone, and others thinking that it should be for only a select few.

Even in those cases, though, I think it's reasonable to assume that people hold those beliefs because they think it's best for some group (either all people, or people already on the Fediverse).

I get personal attacks from creeps and stalkers on here every once in a while. I'm OK with blocking them, but I think they're kind of fucked up. I've been working on building the Fediverse for 17 years; if I was going to do a heel turn, it would have happened long ago. I'd appreciate if people would assume good faith with me, but I can live with it if they don't. I know how the block button works!
