#PSA: #CreativeCommons is NOT synonymous with #FreeCulture. It’s only an overlap.
#CC paradoxically has licenses that are anti-Creative or anti-Commons. Any work under a NonCommercial or NoDerivatives restriction can NEVER be part of #FreeCulture.
CC0, CC BY, CC BY-SA (any version) fall under free culture/software. Other CC licenses don't.
Many ppl new to the scene make the beginner mistake by choosing -NC and/or -ND and falsely believe they contributed to free culture. They didn’t.

@lproven There's quite a lot of scam, fraud, and money laundering activity around gift cards also for Google Play, leading to the consequences for unsuspecting users that this post describes. I wouldn't redeem a gift card with a pole, not even one sold by a reputable business.
