I can't verify with another device. If I reset, will I lose access to all my messages? What about the channels and rooms?

Yeah, this is why Matrix isn't ready for general usage yet. UX is just bad, maybe in a couple of years it's good enough, but as of November 2025 it's a big nope for me.
