Is there a way in Mastodon to filter quote toots if they quote a toot which is filtered?

Is there a way in Mastodon to filter quote toots if they quote a toot which is filtered? I have fairly aggressive 'I don't want to see US politics' filters but things are still getting through because people are quoting toots (i.e. the original toot contains a filter word, so I don't see it, but the quote isn't filtered).

@pwaring That sounds like a useful feature request for your Mastodon client of choice TBH.

@pwaring that feels like a major flaw in the quote toot implementation š¬

I'm not sure, quoting is very new so I don't know how it interacts with the filters.
Do you have an example of a toot that got through and which keyword(s) should have triggered a filter?
