@Gina The global timeline is for new users probably a good way to find interesting profiles to follow. Otherwise they start with nobody to follow, no followers and will leave because they are alone in the fediverse. This was IMHO the main reason people left Fedi again after they moved here from X.

@Gina unsure on which server they post porns too, but scrolling over the uninteresting stuff will still let you normally find good profiles. If not and its only porn, then one can only suggest to register on a different server.
