Me, today: "You have 2 backup options. One is to snapshot and dump the full VM from the hypervisor."
Customer: "what's the other?"
Me: "back up with software inside the VM to a server somewhere."
C: "what if we have neither?"What's one to even say? Explain the concept of a shitty creek and no paddles? Congratulate them on all the money saved? Suggest they get their heads inspected?
Sigh.
