    Does anyone know of an easy way to run #Anubis in front of a small static site? It should be straightforward, low maintenance and affordable for someone who has no experience running anything that's publicly accessible I'm imagining the standard scenario is a rented VPS and manually configuring Anubis + nginx + SSL/TLS but I'm looking for something simpler#AskFedi #webhosting #sysadmin #selfhosted #nginx #vps #AntiAi

    Actually y'know what i'm just gonna shoot this shot. Hello tech and sysadmin people of fedi: if you're running an active IRC server. Can you give some pointers on setting up an (out-of-network, so not really connected to any other servers) IRC server for a very small group? Also some pointers for stuff like Anope/similar management tools. I'm not exactly server-savvy, since my experience is writing 100% offline software, but i'd like to get off discord with my friends.#irc #selfhosted #adviceNeeded

    I’m interviewing folks to determine the roadmap for my federated link sharing project “linkblocks”. If you like bookmark managers, lemmy, are.na, or any other app for curating and sharing stuff, this is your chance to make me build your dream app ;) A session takes about 30 minutes in a voice chat. If you’re interested, comment here or send me a DM! For the curious, here's a demo for the current prototype. The code is on github. In contrast to other bookmarking apps, linkblocks focuses on collaboration and discussion. Discussion will be a bit like on lemmy, but instead of voting, bookmarks are discovered through tagging and following individual users.
