"ChatGPT is getting more social," reports PC Magazine, "with a new feature that allows you to sync your #contacts to see if any of your friends are using the #chatbot or any other #OpenAI product..." It's "completely optional," [OpenAI] says. However, even if you don't opt in, anyone with your number who syncs their contacts are giving OpenAI your digits.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that there were some things I needed to deal with. My presence hasn’t decreased, but it has been different. My mood, without a doubt, very different.
But this morning’s sunrise seemed to foreshadow the good news I’m receiving today and that, as a result, may be paving the way toward a complete resolution of the problems that have been weighing on me lately, problems involving people I care deeply about and that I have, of course, taken on personally.
Fingers crossed, then. But the sun, that sun from this morning, has lit up my day.
