T-Mobile sucks so bad at this point. Extremely customer hostile, you have to call to cancel a line, to generate a port out PIN, or pretty much anything else. I'm switching to one of them cut-rate carriers (Visible, which is just Verizon in a trench coat selling discount LTE around back by the dumpster). Which also means I'm cancelling Netflix and Apple TV, since they're mostly covered by my T-Mobile plan...but, I might re-subscribe to Apple TV. They got some good shows. I won't miss Netflix.

Goddamned AI voice assistant when I call. Sent me a link that doesn't work. I am burning down their fucking building, I swear to god.

The AI is now lying to the customer service rep about what it told me. We live in hell, and I'm paying over $100/month for the privilege.

Now the allegedly human support rep is sending me canned responses that don't help.

I'm about five minutes away from saying, "fuck it, I don't need this number I've had for 25 years."

I've had the same T-Mobile account since the Sidekick II (Danger Hiptop II outside the US).
Do you know how much hatred I have to have in my heart to make a phone call?
But, now, I think I'm finally free. They also finally canceled my damned hotspot line I haven't used in five years, and that I tried and failed to cancel years ago.
Don't use T-Mobile, y'all. Great network, terrible app/website/support.
And, I'm saving about $70/month.

@swelljoe
Iβm using Visible and I think itβs really great. $35/month for the + plan for iPhone & Apple Watch.
My wife has been on a t-mobile family plan with 20 friends since 2014β¦ She only pays like $25/month for unlimited voice/txt/data etc on her iPhone & Apple Watch. Also includes international roaming.
Iβve been waiting years for someone to give up their spot in the family plan so I can jump inβ¦ would be cheaper and have more features! -

For a dozen years or so, I traveled full-time in a motorhome, so I needed good, fast, unlimited hotspot usage on my phone, which T-Mobile came the closest to most of the time. I usually kept a second plan in addition to the primary phone, either from Sprint or Verizon for times/places I couldn't get T-Mobile service. By the end, TMo had a better network than anybody.

@bryan but, I have a severely negative reaction to companies requiring me to talk to people (or worse, an AI) on the phone. And T-Mobile got to the point where literally everything required a phone call, even things the "T-Life" app or website is supposed to be able to do, that never actually worked.
Even once I was talking to a real person, getting a transfer PIN sucked. Just a miserable support experience.
Not because the people are bad, but because the systems are designed to be hostile.
