Compassion is living a story
A story of others made by ourselves, where we are not the protagonist
But we can use it as a way to predate other lives, live more lives. It's false compassion
When there's no transformation, no change in ourselves that we let pass, it's another form of dominion
How can we meet others if we hear only our voice?
Our voice should meet other one's, start a choir

In elementary school, one of my classmates was hit by a car on his bicycle. He must have been about 9. His head went through the windshield.
He was fine.
The windshield was not fine. His helmet was not fine. The teacher had him bring in his mangled helmet to show the whole class. Nobody had to tell us he’d be dead if it weren’t for the helmet. It was obvious.
I still remember this vividly 40 years later.
I wear a helmet.
